Popular Years
2013-2015 Honda Civic
Beginning with the 2012 model, Honda introduced the ninth generation of the Honda Civic. This generation featured a completely redesigned exterior that made the vehicle sleeker and more aerodynamic.
As for tech options, the ninth generation Civic is an ideal daily driver. Technology options found standard on the 2013-2015 Honda Civic coupe includes the following standard features:
- A rearview camera with guidelines
- An Intelligent Multi-Information Display
- A six-speaker audio system with USB audio interface
- Illuminated steering wheel-mounted controls
On upper trims such as the 2013-2015 Honda Civic EX-L, you'll find more premium features such as heated seats, auto on/off headlights, a power moonroof, and much more.
2016-Present Honda Civic
The 2016 Honda Civic marked the beginning of the vehicle's tenth generation. The new generation Civic featured a redesigned exterior. However, it was the interior of the vehicle that saw the greatest changes. For the 2016 Honda Civic, Honda replaced the Civic's instrument cluster with a digital cluster that is fully customizable, allowing drivers to select for the information they want to be displayed. The heart of this new digital instrument cluster is a sleek 7-inch LCD screen that is positioned behind the steering wheel in the driver's line of sight.
The 2017 Honda Civic, for example, you can look forward to standard features such as:
- A multi-angle rearview camera with guidelines
- Auto on/off halogen headlights
- Automatic climate control
- A five -inch color LCD touchscreen
- Bluetooth® connectivity
All of these features and many more can be found on the LX trim of the 2017 Honda Civic. On the Touring trim - the top Trim level for the 2017 Honda Civic - you'll get features such as an automatic dimming rearview mirror, dual-zone automatic climate control, front and rear heated seats, a 10-speaker premium audio system with an included subwoofer, and much more.
For those searching for a sleek and stylish daily driver that still clocks in at a budget-friendly price point, the 2016-2018 Honda Civic goes above and beyond. There's a lot to like about this timeless car, and there are plenty of good reasons why it has remained one of the most popular cars on the road.
