2014 - Present Nissan Frontier Trim Configurations
Nissan began offering the third generation of the Nissan Frontier starting with the 2014 model. The third generation Nissan Frontier comes available in two different engine options: 4.0L V6 and a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine. The Nissan Frontier's 4.0L V6 engine is rated for 261 hp while the 2.5L 4-cylinder engine is rated for 152 hp.
The third generation Nissan Frontier is known among pickup enthusiasts for being a hard-working truck that offers a wide range of options, user-friendly technology, and a comfortable ride. The third generation Nissan Frontier has been a big hit in the entry-level pickup truck market and is certainly a truck well worth considering if you are looking for a stylish truck that is built for adventure.

Great small truck perfect price!
It's not a big truck, so it's perfect around town and for hauling the occasional truck load of mulch or furniture!
Pros
- Value: Not a lot of bells and whistles, just a good solid vehicle
- Ride and Handling: Since it's a smaller truck it handles easier than a larger truck.
- Technology and Entertainment: Bluetooth and can hook up my phone for streaming music
Cons

Nissan Frontier
Nice little truck with a lot of function. Only bad part is that you need a lot of space to turn into a parking space. The turning radius is horrible.
Pros
- Cargo Space: Big for a little truck
- Interior Space: A lot of space for a compact truck
- Power: Please of power to pull a trailer
Cons
- Ride and Handling: Turns like a school bus. Very hard to park
- Technology and Entertainment: Very basic on technology
- Braking: Brakes aren’t as good as some trucks
