Reviews for Toyota Tacoma
Great Truck, but overpriced at CarMax
Pros: Reliable and will last a long time. Good space for a pickup with the crew cab. Engine is in great shape and needed very little maintenance when first taking it to an auto shop Cons: Older model yet payed just as much as newer years Missing Tie-Down Cleats
Pros
- Cost to Maintain: Little Maintenance
- Seat Comfort: Plenty of space
- Reliability: This vehicle will be dependable for a long time
Cons
- Value: This vehicle, without touch screen, Bluetooth, XM, etc., was priced as if it had those newer features
- Fuel Economy: Luckily gas is cheap and I don't have to drive far, but it gets around 19 MPG.
- Dashboard: Basic dash, but it is a 2009 and I don't have to worry about fixing newer gadgets. Both a Con and Pro really
Not bad. But I found out from previous owner that
It's a tacoma. Excellent. Resale
Pros
- Ride and Handling: I like tacomas
- Reliability: Very reliable
- Dashboard: Easy to read
Cons
- Power: Not enough power
- Cabin Noise: A bit noisey
- Technology and Entertainment: I would like automatic start
Just What I was Looking For
My old sedan was costing too much in repairs. I looked on CarMax.com for a pickup, and this was the first and best option to pop up. Right up the street! I'm very pleased with my fairly priced and adequately equipped Tacoma.
Pros
- Cost to Maintain: Easy to maintain even though it's ten years old.
- Reliability:
- Interior Space:
